For 2019, Furlandia Artists Alley will be trying something new! We will offer a limited number of prepaid table spaces for Artists Alley as an add-on item in our registration system.

Prepaid Artists Alley tables are for the full weekend only; you can still apply for per-day table space at the convention, using the same rules as last year. Please see our Artists Alley page for more details.

If you'd like to pre-register for an Artists Alley table, here's what you need to know:

• There are a limited number of prepaid table spaces. Once they're gone, they're gone — no exceptions.

• There is no waiting list for prepaid table spaces. If you don't get a prepaid table space in the Artists Alley, you can still apply for per-day table space at the convention, using the same rules as last year.

• You must have a paid membership to pre-register for table space in the Artists Alley.

• Prepaid table space is available on a first-paid, first-served basis. You must pay for prepaid table space with PayPal. Unpaid table pre-registrations will be forfeited and made available for other pre-registering artists or per-day use.

• Prepaid table spaces in the Artists Alley are $55, a $10 savings over signing up for per-day space on each day.

We will be providing Artists Alley pre-registration in rounds. The first round will be on Saturday, March 9 from 12:00 to 4:00 PST. If there are any unsold prepaid table spaces, we will open additional rounds. Be sure to follow us on social media to stay in the know!

Dealers' Den applications will close at 11:59:59 PM PST on November 16, 2018.

We will start sending out acceptance communications around the first week of December, so make sure your email address is up to date, and add dealers@furlandia.org to your contacts.

Our panel submissions are now open! From art and crafts to character development, writing, and music jams, we want Furlandia 1967: The Summer of Fluff! to have something for everyone!

Applications for our Dealers Den are now open!

Based on your feedback, we're also making a couple of small changes this year:

• We have reduced our layout a bit to free up space for better traffic flow and to give you some room to breathe and move around.

• To give our wonderful vendors a chance to take a break and catch their breath, the Dealers Den will close for a short meal break on Friday and Saturday. We'll post the finalized opening hours on our Dealers page.

Furlandia is growing and we are looking for individuals in the community to grow with us! We currently have several director-level volunteer positions as well as general staff positions open that we are looking to fill for the 2019 convention year.

Ideally we are looking for people with experience in the areas available, however a strong commitment to bettering the covention and our community as a whole will always be the driving force in our decision-making process.

Currently we are seeking Executive-level staff in the following areas:

• Business Director
• Treasurer
• Secretary

Additionally we have Lead and general Staff positions open in the following areaas:

• Security
• Quartermaster
• Charity Liaison
• Staff Lounge
• Press Relations
• Theming
• Videography
• Recruiting
• Special Guest Liaison
• Major Events Coordinator
• Gaming Liaison
• Programming Director Assistant

And of course, we are always looking for general volunteers both before, at, and after the convention, especially load-in and load-out logistics staff.
