Planned, but not scheduled, are an electronic gaming tournament, Magic: the Gathering tournament, Lazer Tag arena match, and art & writing contests. Meet-&-Greet Dance Party

Fursuit Parade

Vintage Foxtrot
Wear your best Portland vintage style to this brunch-time soiree. Learn social dance steps from the turn of the last century, then fill your dance card and trip the light furtastic to cabaret & vaudevillian sounds by DJ Sabby Tabby. 11am @ Multnomah-Elowah Falls Ballroom
Fursuit Games

Variety Show
A favorite event at any con is the Variety Show, when members of the community share their talents, creativity, and silly furry tricks with one another. Musicians, prestidigitators, thespians, circus artists, and performers of every stripe are invited to delight and amaze their fellow fans.
To submit your act, please send a demo attachment or URL (audio-only OK, but video preferred) to programming@furlandia.org (subject: “variety act”) no later than April 26 for approval by Furlandia’s programming staff; include a list of any special light, sound, or staging requirements. Performances must be family-friendly up to “PG13″, under 10 minutes including setup & strike, and should be entertainment-focused (i.e. not principally intended to advance an ideology). In case it needs to be said: please no nudity, “sideshow” acts that involve breaking skin, fire performance, functioning weapons or other dangerous props, or throwing/spraying of any substance into the audience. Variety Show performers must attend the run-through/technical rehearsal prior to the performance, so please budget time and plan your meals accordingly.
