DJ Applications

Want to perform at our event? Furlandia is looking for talented DJs to join our lineup!

DJs of all experience levels are welcome to apply. Applicants should be able to deliver a continuous, danceable one-hour set that is engaging, technically clean, and free from unnecessary distractions.

Applications are reviewed for track flow, energy, danceability, and technical proficiency. Minor mixing errors, genre choice, and personal identity will not affect consideration.

DJ Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for sound check.
• Be ready at least 15 minutes before your set.
• Coordinate with other DJs for smooth transitions.
• Stay professional, courteous, and friendly.
• Have fun — responsibly.
• No open containers near sound equipment. No exceptions.

Equipment and Preparedness

• If you’re using house decks, ensure your music is properly exported to a USB drive formatted for Rekordbox (specifically FAT32 — exFAT will not be supported).
• If you’re bringing your own setup, power outlets and standard stereo inputs (RCA or XLR) will be available. You’re responsible for bringing any required power, audio, or data cables.
• Equipment can fail — always bring backups.

Technical Requirements

Performers must be familiar with their gear and basic audio setup. Sound checks will be available before each night’s dances, but staff cannot troubleshoot personal equipment.

• All setups must output analog stereo audio via RCA or XLR.
• Laptop headphone jacks are not accepted — no AUX cords.
• Bring your own headphones and, if needed, a ¼-inch adapter.

DJ applications will close in January. The exact closing date is yet to be determined and will be announced at a later time.
